If you have upgraded to a paid Wherobots tier, you can view your bill within Wherobots Cloud.

Before you start

In order to view your bill in Wherobots Cloud, ensure that you have the following:
  • A Wherobots Professional or Enterprise Edition Organization.
  • An Admin Role.
    • Any Admin in the Organization can view invoices.

Billing overview

Depending on how you signed up, you may be billed by Wherobots directly (Direct Billing), through AWS Marketplace, or through a contract with Wherobots.

Invoices and billing contact

Invoices are emailed to the Billing Contact Email configured in your Organization’s Billing settings. This can be an individual email address or a team alias (e.g., billing@yourcompany.com), but only a single email address is supported. To update the billing contact email:
  1. Log in to Wherobots Cloud.
  2. Go to Organization Settings > Billing.
  3. Under Billing Contact Email, enter the desired email address.
  4. Click Update.

To view your invoices, do the following:
  1. Log in to Wherobots Cloud.
  2. Go to Organization Settings > Billing.
  3. Click View Invoicing. Professional Billing You can review your Account information, Unpaid invoices, and Invoice history.

Contract-based subscriptions

If your Organization was set up through a contract with Wherobots (typically Enterprise Edition Organizations), your subscription is not self-service. In the Billing section of Organization Settings, you will see a “Contact Sales to Manage Subscription” link instead of self-serve billing controls. This means that subscription changes such as upgrades, renewals, or cancellations are handled by the Wherobots team through your contract agreement, not through the Wherobots Cloud UI. To make changes to a contract-based subscription, contact info@wherobots.com or reach out to your dedicated Wherobots support team. For more information on Enterprise Edition Organizations, see Organization Editions.

What initiates a billable event?

In Wherobots Cloud, clicking START within the START A NOTEBOOK section requests a runtime. In Wherobots, billing begins when a runtime is fully provisioned and available. Runtimes can become available in a variety of scenarios including the following:
ServiceBilling Starts When…
NotebookThe status indicator in Wherobots Cloud changes from a spinning icon to a green dot 🟢.
Job RunThe Run’s status changes from PENDING to RUNNING.
SQL SessionThe SQL session’s status changes from PENDING to RUNNING.
In Wherobots Cloud, runtime instances can remain active for 24 hours in Professional and Enterprise Edition Organizations by default.
If your Organization has been granted a modified default Runtime Time-to-live (TTL), that TTL will be reflected in the Expires In column. For more information on compute usage and usage-based billing, see What factors influence Spatial Unit consumption?
