Browse and manage catalogs

Use the Data Catalogs page in Wherobots Cloud to browse catalogs and table metadata or add a catalog. This page was previously called the Data Hub. For an explanation of managed data catalogs, external data catalogs, and access from other engines, start with the Havasu data catalogs overview. Before you start

Before using this feature, you need the following:

• A Wherobots account.
  • While only a Wherobots Admin can add a new catalog, a Wherobots Organization member with a User role can access already-integrated catalogs.

View table details

When you select a table in Data Catalogs, you can view key details, including:

• Column Schema
• Table Owner
• Table Location
• Table Format
• Update Time
• Record Count

Review catalog audit logs

Review your Audit Logs for SpatialCatalog events in your Organization.

Add or browse a catalog

• Foreign catalogs: Connect WherobotsDB to an external catalog.
• Managed catalogs: Use your Organization’s catalogs or create a managed catalog from an S3 bucket.
• Datasets provided by Wherobots: Browse Wherobots open data.

Delete a catalog

To delete a catalog that you’ve integrated into your Wherobots Organization do the following:

1. Confirm that you are an Admin within your Wherobots Organization.
2. Go to Wherobots Data Catalogs.
3. Select the catalog you wish to delete.
4. Click Delete.
