Overview
To change from one billing method to another:- Cancel your current subscription (downgrade to Community Edition).
- Upgrade your Organization again using the new billing method.
Before you start
- You must have the Admin role in your Wherobots Organization. For more information, see Organization Roles.
- Save your work. Stop all active runtimes and save any in-progress notebooks before canceling your subscription.
- Take note of your Job Run schedule. Ensure you are aware of any scheduled jobs that may be affected by the downgrade. When you downgrade to the Community Edition, any running workloads including scheduled job runs will be stopped. Job Runs are only available with the Professional and Enterprise Editions, so you will lose access to any scheduled runs while you are on the Community Edition.
- Review any upcoming invoices or billing cycles. Cancellation of a Direct Billing subscription takes effect immediately. For AWS Marketplace, consult Cancelling your SaaS Subscription in the AWS Documentation for timing details.
Switch from Direct Billing to AWS Marketplace
Cancel your Direct Billing subscription
- Log in to Wherobots Cloud.
- Go to Organization Settings > Billing.
- Follow the prompts to cancel your subscription.
Confirm you are on the Community Edition
Once your billing period ends and the downgrade takes effect:
- Go to Organization Settings > Billing.
- Confirm that your Organization is on the Community Edition.
Upgrade via AWS Marketplace
Follow the steps in Upgrade Your Organization — AWS Marketplace to subscribe through the AWS Marketplace and link the subscription to your Organization.
Verify the upgrade
- Go to Organization Settings > Billing.
- Confirm that your Organization is now on the Professional Edition with AWS Marketplace billing.
Switch from AWS Marketplace to Direct Billing
Cancel your AWS Marketplace subscription
Cancel your Wherobots subscription through AWS by following Cancelling your SaaS Subscription in the AWS Documentation.After cancellation, your Organization will be downgraded to the Community Edition.
Timing of your cancellation depends on your AWS subscription, refer to Before you start for more information.For more details, see Cancel Your Subscription.
Confirm you are on the Community Edition
Once the cancellation takes effect:
- Log in to Wherobots Cloud.
- Go to Organization Settings > Billing.
- Confirm that your Organization is on the Community Edition.
Upgrade via Direct Billing
Follow the steps in Upgrade Your Organization — Direct Billing to add a credit card or bank account and upgrade your Organization.
Verify the upgrade
- Go to Organization Settings > Billing.
- Confirm that your Organization is now on the Professional Edition with Direct Billing.
