Wherobots Managed Cloud Storage

Wherobots’ Managed Storage offers the following:
  • Convenient & Secure: Provides out-of-the-box, S3-based storage managed by Wherobots, requiring no user setup. Wherobots handles infrastructure, maintenance, security, and scalability.
  • Persistent Storage: Ideal for notebooks, spatial datasets (vector, raster, geospatial formats), and other work products generated within Wherobots Cloud.
  • Collaboration: Share resources within your Wherobots Organization by saving files to the data/shared/ path.
  • Accessible: Easily accessible via the Wherobots Cloud interface (see Managed dropdown menu).

AWS S3 Bucket Integration

Wherobots’ AWS S3 Storage integration offers the following:
  • Public and Private Buckets: Connect and utilize public or your private AWS S3 buckets.
  • Integrates with existing permissions: Read from and write to your S3 buckets, governed by your AWS IAM permissions.
  • Use Cases:
    • Access existing large-scale datasets.
    • Maintain direct control over data storage, lifecycle policies, and permissions within your AWS environment.
    • Facilitate data exchange with other applications interacting with your S3 buckets.

Havasu Tables

Havasu tables and datasets are managed by the Wherobots Catalog and are automatically stored in your Wherobots Cloud Managed Storage. Wherobots Cloud also provides several datasets as Havasu tables through the Spatial Data Catalog.
