GeoDataFrame.voronoi_polygons

Unlike geopandas, which collects all vertices across the entire GeoSeries and computes a single Voronoi diagram, Sedona computes the diagram per row. Each input geometry produces one GeometryCollection containing its Voronoi polygons. The output GeoSeries has the same length as the input.

Parameters

Snapping tolerance for vertices to be considered equal.

Geometry

default:"None"

A local geometry whose envelope enlarges the default extent of every row’s Voronoi diagram. Distributed and array-like extents are not supported.

bool

default:"False"

Only only_edges=False is supported. Passing only_edges=True will raise NotImplementedError.
