GeoDataFrame.envelope - Wherobots

Returns a GeoSeries of geometries representing the envelope of each geometry. The envelope of a geometry is the bounding rectangle. That is, the point or smallest rectangular polygon (with sides parallel to the coordinate axes) that contains the geometry.
