ST_Perimeter2D (Python)

Returns the perimeter of a Polygon/MultiPolygon geometries. Otherwise, returns 0 This is an alias of ST_Perimeter. SQL reference: ST_Perimeter2D

Parameters

ColumnOrName

Polygonal geometry

Optional[Union[ColumnOrName, bool]]

default:"None"

Whether to compute the geodesic perimeter in meters on the WGS84 spheroid.

Optional[Union[ColumnOrName, bool]]

default:"None"

With use_spheroid, whether to assume the geometry uses EPSG:4326 instead of raising an error. Default is True.
