# ST_IsLineStringCCW (Python)

> Check whether a LineString coordinate sequence has counter-clockwise ring orientation.

Check whether a LineString coordinate sequence has counter-clockwise ring orientation.

Open LineStrings are evaluated as supplied, without appending the start
coordinate. Non-LineString geometries and LineStrings with fewer than four
points return False.
