# ST_EndPoint (Python)

## Signature

from sedona.spark.sql.st_functions import ST_EndPoint

ST_EndPoint(line_string: ColumnOrName) -> Column
```

## Parameters

<ParamField path="line_string" type="ColumnOrName" required>
  Linestring geometry column to get the end point of.
</ParamField>

## Returns

<ResponseField name="return" type="Column">
  The last point of the linestring geometry column as a point geometry column.
</ResponseField>
