# GeoDataFrame.remove_repeated_points

> Return a GeoSeries with duplicate points removed.

Return a `GeoSeries` with duplicate points removed.

## Signature

```python theme={"system"}
remove_repeated_points(tolerance=0.0)
```

## Parameters

<ParamField path="tolerance" type="float" default="0.0">
  Remove vertices that are within `tolerance` distance of one
  another. A tolerance of 0.0 removes only exactly repeated
  coordinates.
</ParamField>

## Returns

<ResponseField name="return" type="GeoSeries" />

## Examples

>>> from sedona.spark.geopandas import GeoSeries
>>> from shapely.geometry import LineString
>>> s = GeoSeries(
