# Exceptions

> The SDK's exception classes. All of them derive from WherobotsJobError.

## WherobotsAPIError

```

Raised when the Wherobots API returns an error response.

#### Parameters

**message** `str` *required*

**status\_code** `int | None` (default: None)

**response** `dict[str, Any] | None` (default: None)

**request\_id** `str | None` (default: None)

## WherobotsConfigError

```python theme={"system"}
WherobotsConfigError()
```

Raised when configuration is missing or invalid.

## WherobotsFileNotFoundError

```python theme={"system"}
WherobotsFileNotFoundError(
    message: str,
    status_code: int | None = None,
    response: dict[str, Any] | None = None,
    request_id: str | None = None,
)
```

Raised when a Files drive has no file or folder at the requested path.

#### Parameters

**message** `str` *required*

**status\_code** `int | None` (default: None)

**response** `dict[str, Any] | None` (default: None)

**request\_id** `str | None` (default: None)

## WherobotsFilesNotEnabledError

```python theme={"system"}
WherobotsFilesNotEnabledError(drive: str, region: str, cause: WherobotsAPIError)
```

Raised when Files is not enabled for a drive in a region.

Build the error from an API 404 on a drive whose root also answers 404.

#### Parameters

**drive** `str` *required*

The drive that was addressed.

**region** `str` *required*

The region the drive was addressed in.

**cause** `WherobotsAPIError` *required*

The underlying 404 from the API.

#### Attributes

**drive**

The drive that was addressed (e.g. `"my_files"`).

**region**

The region the drive was addressed in (e.g. `"aws-us-west-2"`).

## WherobotsJobError

```

Base exception for all Wherobots job errors.

## WherobotsNotAuthenticatedError

```python theme={"system"}
WherobotsNotAuthenticatedError(
    message: str,
    status_code: int | None = None,
    response: dict[str, Any] | None = None,
    request_id: str | None = None,
)
```

Raised when the Wherobots API does not accept the credentials.

#### Parameters

**message** `str` *required*

**status\_code** `int | None` (default: None)

**response** `dict[str, Any] | None` (default: None)

**request\_id** `str | None` (default: None)

## WherobotsS3Error

WherobotsS3Error()
```

Raised when an S3 upload or access operation fails.

## WherobotsTimeoutError

```python theme={"system"}
WherobotsTimeoutError()
```

Raised when a job exceeds the specified timeout.

## WherobotsValidationError

```python theme={"system"}
WherobotsValidationError()
```

Raised for client-side validation errors before making API calls.
