# Delete Your Organization

> Permanently delete your Wherobots Organization, including all associated members and data. This action cannot be undone, so please proceed with caution.

You can delete your Organization directly from [**Organization Settings**](https://cloud.wherobots.com/organization) without needing to contact support. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

<Note>
  If you have a Professional Edition Organization, you must [cancel your subscription](/get-started/organization-management/cancel) before requesting Organization deletion in Organization Settings.

  If your Organization is subscribed through the **AWS Marketplace**, you must [cancel your Marketplace subscription](/get-started/organization-management/cancel) before you can request Organization removal in Organization Settings.

## Request deletion

<Steps>
  <Step title="Navigate to Organization Settings">
    Go to your [**Organization Settings**](https://cloud.wherobots.com/organization).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Request deletion">
    Click **Request Deletion** to begin the process.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the warning">
    A confirmation dialog titled **Permanently Delete Organization?** appears. Review the consequences:

    * All associated notebooks and data will be permanently deleted.
    * Individual Accounts will be removed from this Organization but remain operational in any other active Organizations.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm deletion">
    To confirm that you understand the consequences, type `DELETE` into the text field.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Delete">
    Click **Delete** a final time to permanently delete your Organization, its members, and all associated data.
  </Step>

If your deletion request can't be processed — for example, because the Organization must first be downgraded to Community Edition or has an active subscription — a warning is shown explaining the reason. Resolve the issue and try again.

## Request undeletion

If your Organization has been closed but not yet permanently deleted, an Organization Administrator can request to reactivate it from [**Organization Settings**](https://cloud.wherobots.com/organization).

  To request undeletion, your Organization must be in good standing with no outstanding invoices. Requesting undeletion resets the deletion timer.

    Go to your [**Organization Settings**](https://cloud.wherobots.com/organization). For a closed Organization, a **Request Undeletion** button is shown.

  <Step title="Request undeletion">
    Click **Request Undeletion**. A confirmation dialog titled **Request Organization Undeletion** appears.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Click **Undelete** to submit the request. If the request can't be processed (for example, because of outstanding invoices), a warning is shown explaining the reason.
